I have just been to visit Pam and what a difference your team have made! Pam is very excited about the prospect of a fit for purpose wheelchair and was telling me how nice you all were and how much she appreciates it. I haven’t seen her like this for ages. She also told me that you had suggested a better over the bed table, as the one she has doesn’t fit over her knees. I wasn’t aware that Pam could actually try out wheelchairs before she buys. Thank you for everything you are doing.

I’ve been using Rehab4u for well over a year. Since having a periprosthetic fracture, the Physio team of Julia, Ancy and Charlie has been excellent in providing me with a comprehensive rehabilitation programme. Their energy, enthusiasm and expertise has been hugely beneficial in my recovery.

After having a fall and breaking my hip three years ago and spending time in hospital, I was recommended to Rehab4U. Also suffering with Parkinson’s, I have found over the years that regular massage helps the stiffness in my feet, legs, back and neck; working on these areas over time I find my walking and daily routine easier. The advantage of Rehab4u is home visits. I would definitely recommend from my own experience.

My journey with Rehab4U began in 2022, after I had sudden onset diabetes. I also got diabetic amyotrophy and lost the use of my legs. The consultant said there was little hope. In dire straits, and not able to receive immediate NHS help, one day I spoke to Julia, a Specialist Neurophysio. Julia then assessed me with Nikki, a Massage Therapist. I began an hour of massage therapy weekly to stimulate my leg nerve endings and muscles. Within weeks, I had tingling and soon was building up strength slowly but surely. It took over 12 months to walk with a cane, but I was walking! My last visit to the specialist was triumphant. She said it was a miracle. With God, my loyal caring friends, Vitamin B complex and Nikki, I have now resumed a more normal active life, driving, flying, swimming and walking steadily into the future.

My 95 year old mum was recommended physiotherapy after having a replacement hip operation which was a success but mum needed to learn how to walk properly again and gain the strength to do so. Beth came and assessed mum in a pleasant and efficient manner, and set up a progressive series of exercises to do with Corrine. Mum looks forward to the physio sessions and we, her family, can certainly notice the difference in her walk and general stance. I can highly recommend Rehab4u as a local, well organised physiotherapy company.

We recently held a Falls Prevention talk at Bowes House. Keith and Denise, two of the attendees, said “thank you for an informative and interesting talk, which made us very much more aware of the potential trip hazards around the home and whilst outdoors. The presentation was very professional but relaxed, allowing us to be able to ask questions or comment.”

Thank you for your assessment and favourable outcome for our resident.  We were concerned as the raiser had come from his own home and been put on our toilet by his family.  Our toilets are much higher than a standard toilet, as someone from Rehab4u pointed out to us when we first opened.  Since then if any resident comes to us from home with their own seat raiser, we always get an assessment by a professional to ensure it is the correct height for them. Our client and his family will be very pleased, as are we.

Over the past nearly two years Beth, Cathy and Jeremy have contributed to mum’s enhanced mobility. She really enjoys their visits and benefits immensely.  We are looking forward to taking her outside to enjoy the sunshine and the gardens now that the weather is improving; something that I never thought possible a year or so ago. I was extremely impressed with my first contact with Kieran to arrange an appointment and the information requested before my assessment. Kieran was very knowledgeable, asking questions and explaining everything. He was able to give me an explanation of my symptoms and how to proceed, along with additional contacts to support me. My appointment left me feeling very positive. I am very satisfied with the whole experience and, if needed in the future, would not hesitate to use him again.

I have vestibular nerve damage in my ear which causes me to lose my balance and fall over. For the last year the neurophysio has come regularly to offer me support, reassurance, exercises and someone to talk to about it. I could not be more grateful for the results of my treatment – it has given me back my life. As important, perhaps even more, I have been taught to look out for the signs of danger and take steps to avoid balancing issues. I never thought such an outcome could be remotely possible.

Having recently arrived in Eastbourne and lived with MS for 20 years, Rehab4u provides knowledgeable, caring and flexible expertise to support my ongoing care and treatment. I have regular massage and weekly physiotherapy.

Julia and the team at Shinewater Court have been very supportive of my daughter Emma’s condition over the last year. I suffered a severe stroke that left me paralysed on my left side and unable to walk.  Hannah has been giving me a massage on a weekly basis for 4 months. The results are encouraging, enabling me to start walking again. I highly recommend Hannah to anyone needing relief from physical disability requiring massage treatment. The results are so worthwhile I would have gladly paid double.

After a fall at the age of 92, recovery from the pelvic bone fractures was slow. Ancy gave me several weeks of physio aimed at re-establishing my confidence and strengthening my muscles. She was sympathetic, charming and encouraging. I am now able to move more freely, even with just a walking stick in the house. My family and I strongly recommend her to anyone needing similar help.

As an ex-professional jockey, I have been struggling with serious back injury from a riding accident. I was also diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Julia offers first rate professional service. It is a long journey to recover from spinal surgery and Julia is both reassuring and motivating in the physio programme that she provides. I cannot fault the service I am receiving.

Rehab4U has looked after Chris for years. Firstly, exercise classes in which they do the type of movements he needs to keep moving despite his disabilities and also when he was immobile following Covid. They are understanding but firm with him, so he achieves his goals and socialises at the same time. Highly recommend this rehab group.
